Time out -
Think I'm going to try to "sneak" out tonight when my hubby gets home. Our daughter has been sick for the last couple of days, but is doing much better now. - And I need to get a lamp for the living room, and some facial cleaning stuff for me. - I've been using Garnier, but some of the products sting my face a bit ( is it supposed to do that??), and so I think I'm going to try Nutragina, and see how that goes. - I recently picked up a much needed new book case. we needed more room for the books we have for homeschooling, and personal reading. - I'm hoping to find what I'm looking for when I go out this evening, and besides, I really do need to get out of the house for a bit - for my own sanity! ;)
Room With A View -

My Mom sent me this last night - We have been studying Michelangelo and The Sistine Chapel in History and Art - This link will lead you to an astounding paneramic (360) view of the incredible work that Michelangelo did in The Sistine Chapel - Just beautiful!! -
Here's what she sent -
Sistine Chapel site - This is totally awesome.
- it may get you dizzy if you are not careful.
Use your Mouse to slide and roll for a very interesting full tour of the Sistine Chapel.
Hold your curser down on right side of screen and slowly move pictures around. Amazing sight.
TO VIEW EVERY PART OF THE MICHAEL ANGELO'S MASTERPIECE JUST CLICK AND DRAG YOUR ARROW IN THE DIRECTION YOU WISH TO SEE.
MOVE THE CURSOR SLOWLY!!!
In the lower left corner, click on the plus to move closer, on the minus to move away.
Apparently done by Villanova at the request of the Vatican ...

Trying out a new background for the season. - Still working on tweeking stuff here, although I haven't been on here much at all recently. Thanksgiving is always hard for me now that my Dad is no longer living. Thanksgiving was his last holiday with us. - I do look forward to Christmas however. With all it's lights and good cheer. It makes me happy. - Well guess I'll go for now and come back again another day. I'm dealing with some stuff that I'd rather not deal with right now, so I'm a bit out of sorts.

Scaredy Cat
Well, we ended up going with LPS ( Littlest Pet Shop for those who don't already know ), for a halloween costume. It was a late choice, and the costume that you could actually buy included a dress - ( my kiddo hates dresses - blech ) - so we headed to the fabric store and bought some pink felt for the head tail and paws, and added it to a pair of pink sweatpants and a pink sweatshirt - ( the original store-bought costume showed the head as a hood, if you will - where the child's face is just below the character's face, and fastened with a ribbon under the child's chin - so we went with that idea ) - we used felt and acylic paint and some ribbon and lots of handstitching - turned out pretty cute - and my kiddo loved that folks liked it too - in her words - "I'm just so cute!" lol! Gotta love it!
